Arthur suffering without knowing why he is suffering or why he is crying
This scene is not in the scenario. At the beginning of the scenario, you can only hear the laughter of a man.
What this scene means is that Arthur's heart is crying all the time, and it's a daily occurrence for Arthur to burst into tears.
Arthur has been painful for a long time, but he doesn't know the real cause of why he is having a hard time.
Some people say, "Don't you know yourself?", but you don't really know yourself. That is why people use psychoanalysis and other means of knowing themselves to solve their own mental problems. Because everyone really doesn't know about themselves
In this scene, you can see that Arthur is suffering.
He tries to smile forcibly after the tears flow, which indicates that he is smiling forcibly to live.
Arthur's heart is already about to burst with anger and sadness, but since he doesn't know what he's angry with, he has to smile to live well with others.
But he is not evil. Rather, he is pure and has beautiful eyes.

The intention of bringing this tears scene to the beginning of the movie was to show the message, "This is not a flimsy hero. It's not a Batman spin-off. Please follow us as we will go deep inside the characters."

#0 Introduction
映画「ジョーカー」15秒CM（ドラマ編）2019年10月4日（金）公開
This is my view that this movie “JOKER” is "the story of a man raised by a mother with a narcissistic personality disorder".
In the 1950s, when Arthur was born, it may have been common for young women working in mansions to be tricked into a lover with their young sons, be abandoned by them, become single-mother families, and have a hard time in their life.
Arthur was particularly unlucky because his mother was a poison mother with a narcissistic personality disorder.
Some may understand that Arthur was adopted, but I'll explain later that “adopted” was a fabrication by Thomas Wayne.
Arthur is not an evil man, but a man raised by a poison mother.
From this point of view, I will interpret the movie "Joker".
It's a spoiler, so please be careful if you haven't watched the movie yet.
The film's director, Todd Phillips, doesn't say much about the film's content, but one of the director's few remarks is famous.
“That laugh in that scene is really the only time he laughs genuinely,” Phillips said. “There are different laughs in the movie. There is the laugh from Arthur’s affliction and then there is his fake laugh when he’s trying to be ‘one of the people,’ which is my favorite laugh. But at the end, when he’s in the room at Arkham State Hospital, that’s his only genuine laugh in the movie.” -From the Los Angeles Times
“That laugh” is a sign that the Joker has succeeded in regaining himself.
He was arrested so it doesn't look like a success to the world, but he looked happy at the end of the movie.
Arthur said, "I came up with a joke". This has been a source of controversy among many fans.
The opinion that "It is a delusion that Bruce Wayne, whose parents were killed, fights as a hero by hiding his face with a mask while suffering a traumatic heart." may be valid.
Some people say that Joker and Bruce don't match when they met in “Dark Night”. But when it's a delusion, it doesn't matter what the age difference is.

Below, I will write my thoughts for each scene.
I will proceed with reference to the scenario on the web and the movie broadcast on WOWOW.

First of all, the sentence written at the beginning of the scenario.
“This story takes place in its own universe. It has no connection to any of the DC films that have come before it.
We see it as a classic Warner Bros. movie. Gritty, intimate and oddly funny, the characters live in the real world and the stakes are personal.
Although it is never mentioned in the film, this story takes place in the past.
Let's call it 1981.
It's a troubled time. The crime rate in Gotham is at record highs. A garbage strike has crippled the city for the past six weeks. And the divide between the "haves" and the "have-nots" is palpable. Dreams are beyond reach, slipping into delusions.”

Now.
The era setting is 1981.
The United States in 1981 had a much wider gap than it does in 2019.
This story needed that disparity and confusion.
Arthur's killing of three young people on the "HAVES" triggered a demonstration of the "HVE-NOTS".
Of course, the direct cause of the demo was Thomas Wayne's careless words. Still, it's strange, if it was 2019, that it will develop into such demonstrations and riots by itself.
If "HAVE-NOTS" are killed by “HAVES", it is natural for many to get angry and demonstrate.
But in the movie, on the contrary, "HAVES" were killed by "HAVE-NOT", and “HAVE-NOT” began demos.
That's because Gotham City in 1981 suffered from terrible polarization and anger was widespread among the people
The reason why the riots happened only with the words of Thomas that made a fool of people was because Gotham City was originally under tension. This is the movie era setting.
To inform the audience of this setting, the TV announcers repeatedly emphasized that the road was piled up with garbage due to the strike of the garbage truck and that people's hearts were disturbed.
By the way, some people seem to interpret this movie as "the whole movie is Arthur's delusion," but I disagree with this opinion.
If you are delusional, it should be a story that suits you.
You should love to have a happy imagination. For example, you were a genius or a millionaire or something.
Life crying must be a reality, not a delusion.

＃５０ ジョークを思いついて～エンディング

アーサーが笑っていて、もうその目は泣いていないようです。
シナリオでは、“向かいに座っている医者は『母親の30歳代くらい』と『最初に出てきたソーシャルワーカー』の両方に似ている感じ”とありますが、よくわかりません。
それから、『ソーシャルワーカーと面談していた部屋とよく似た部屋』となっていますが、これは変更されたようです。
もし最初と同じような人と同じような部屋にいたら、映画を通して何の変化もなかったみたいに見えるので、それこそ全て妄想だったことになってしまいます。
そして、有名な一言「ジョークを思いついて」のくだり。
笑いながら、暗い路地に立つブルース・ウェインと、その脚元に倒れているウェイン夫妻の映像が流れます。アーサーが思い出しているということです。
以前にも書きましたが、これは『ブルース・ウェインがバットマンになって云々』のジョークです。
アーサーはこのシーンで初めて本当に笑ったと監督が言っています。
それは、「もう、やられる一方でいるのはやめた」と決めて、それを実行し、やり切ったと感じたから、「人生、これで充分」と思うことができたのではないかと思います。
人生を奪われていたアーサーが、自分を取り戻した物語が、これで終わりです。

ラストシーンは、真っ白な病院の廊下を一人で歩いていくアーサーの後ろ姿で、足跡が血の赤色をしています。
アーサーの人生の歩みは、心が流血しっぱなしだったということだと思われますが、楽しそうに踊っているし、エンドマークは完全にコメディタッチなので、これ以上重く考えなくていいメッセージかと考えます。
アメリカは死刑が存続している州と廃止されている州があるそうで、このあとアーサーの処遇がどうなるのかわかりませんが、6人、殺していますからハッピーエンドは許されません。
でも、お話はここまで。

PHILLIPS: I mean again, we have people who watch this movie who go, “Oh, I get it.” And by the way, I’m not saying they’re right, they go, “Oh, I get it, he’s not the Joker, he’s the inspiration for the Joker. He’s somebody that inspired the Joker.” And you go, “That’s an interesting way of looking at it.” And they go, “Why?” Well their age difference, and blah blah blah, and I go, “That’s interesting.”

P.S. 若かったころ、劇団の養成所にいたことがあります。
シナリオを読んで解釈をする授業のようなものがありましたが、わたしがしゃべり始めると終わらないので、演出家の先生が「そこまで考えなくていいっ！！」とおっしゃっいました。
役をもらうと、自分の解釈による妄想が止まらず、演出家の先生の考えを理解できないので、これは役者には向かないと思いまして養成所卒業と同時にやめることになりました。

2019年公開映画『ジョーカー～JOKER』分析

パトカーで連行されながら、車の窓ごしに燃えるゴッサムシティを見て笑っています。
運転している警官が「お前のせいで燃えているんだぞ」と言いましたが、こう言われたらかえって嬉しくなります。
今まで誰も自分に振り返りもしなかったのに、「お前のせいだ」と言われたら、存在を認められたんですから笑ってしまいます。
「お前のせいだ」と言う警官に、「知ってるよ。美しいだろ」と楽しそうに答えます。
本当はトーマス・ウェインのせいだと思いますが。
その時パトカーの、アーサーが乗っている側に、救急車が激突します。ものすごく巨大なのでバスかと思いましたが、シナリオに救急車と書いてありました。
ピエロの仮面をかぶった人たちが気を失ったアーサーを助け出し、パトカーのボンネットの上に横たえます。

アップタウンの映画館からウェイン家夫婦とブルースの3人が出てきて、それをピエロマスクの男が追いかけます。
暗い路地に入ったところで、呼び止め、夫婦が撃たれます。
こシナリオでは、両親が倒れた後ろに8歳くらいのブルースの姿が見えたと、悲劇を強調してあります。ここはあとでアーサーがイメージの中で見るシーンです。
8歳というのはシナリオに書いてあるのですが、以前、アーサーがウェイン屋敷に行ったときには１０歳と書いてあったので、現実より幼くなっていて、いかにも妄想っぽいです。
注目すべき点として、これはアーサーが気絶している間の出来事であって、妄想というよりは彼の夢だということです。現実だとするとウェイン夫妻が殺されたことをアーサーが知るはずがないし、その様子を知ることはもっとないのに、夫妻の陰に立っていたアーサーの姿を知っていますから、やはりこれはアーサーの夢です。
アーサーは、トーマス・ウェインこそ殺す必要がありました。でも現実では難しかったでしょう。
でも自分の夢の中でウェイン夫婦が殺されたことで、彼の中ではやり遂げたことになりました。
幸せな夢です。
そもそも、大金持ちが、「今日、大きなデモがある」と知っていてのこのこと映画館に家族ででかけるはずがないし、行くとしてもウェイン家だったらリムジンで移動するはずで、あんな風に自分たちだけで徒歩で映画館を出るわけがないし、もし暴動が起こったことがわかったら映画館の特別室あたりに籠城して、危険を冒して街に出ようなんてしないでしょう。大金持ちは慎重に行動することができるはずです。つまり、ありえません。

現実ではボンネットの上のアーサーが目を醒まし、大勢の人に「立て！」と励まされて歓声を浴び、少し踊ります。ひどい顔で無表情だったので本人の気分が悪かったか体が痛かったかして笑えない状態だったようですが、鼻血が出ていることに気づいてその血を左右に広げ、集まった人々のために自分の顔に笑顔を描きました。
シナリオではここにアンダーラインつきでHe is the Joker.とあります。
この瞬間にジョーカーになったとしたら、ジョーカーとは何なのでしょうか。
他人のために笑顔を見せる人？

マレーはアーサーをステージに呼び込む前、コメディ・クラブでのアーサーのライブ映像を流します。アーサーはそれをカーテンの陰で聞いています。
マレーはアーサーのことを、本人の前で本人を馬鹿にしても、それに気がつかない馬鹿だと考えているわけです。
ここで映画とシナリオがちがってきます。
シナリオではアーサーは、ステージ袖のカーテンに絡まってしまい、とても無様に登場することになりますが、映画ではステージ袖でライブ映像の音声を聴きながら踊りだし、いざ出番になったら華麗にターンしながら登場して、女性博士にキスまでし、不器用な感じがありません。
映画では、袖でライブ映像をみながらみんなが自分をあざ笑っていた間に、再び少し、アーサーの変容が起こったのではないでしょうか。変容のサインのダンスもありました。
ステージ上で椅子にかけ、マレーとの会話が始まりますが、受け答えにおどおどしたところはありません。わざと“発作的な笑い”を見せますが、病気の笑いではなくて、あきらかにわざとです。
ノートをポケットから出して見るところがあります。
シナリオでは「ノートに挟んだブルース・ウェインの写真を見た」となっていますが、映画では、以前ソーシャルワーカーが読み上げた「わたしの死は、わたしの生よりもお金になるものであってほしい」という文を見ています。
ずっとジョーカーは死にたいと思ってきましたが、ステージでこれを読みながら「もうやめた」と考え始めたのでしょうか。

アーサーはノックノックジョークを言いますが、ジョークではなくただの悲惨な話です。
みんなを笑わせようとしたジョークではなく、自分の心の荒廃をぶつけることでみんなを面食らわせて自分一人が楽しむためのジョークです。心が荒れているとこういうことをしたくなります。
わざとであることは、すぐにこう続けることでわかります。
「悪かった。この数週間つらくてね。証券マンを3人殺して以来」

マレーが「どう信じろというんだ？」と聞きます。
「ぼくには失うものは残ってない。何もぼくを傷つけられない。これがぼくの運命だ。ぼくの人生は喜劇でしかなかった」
そして哲学的なことを喋ります。馬鹿な人にできることではありません。これが本当のアーサーです。今までは母親に潰されていたから自分らしくすることができなかったのです。
アーサーは言いたいことを言いたい放題言って、怒りをぶちまけます。
アーサー「ぼくが歩道で死んでも踏みつけるだろう。あの3人に同情するのは、トーマス・ウェインが悲しんだからか？」
マレー「トーマス・ウェインと問題でも」
ここで、アーサー答えはきっぱりと「Yes, I do.」と言います。もし養子だったら、問題も関係もないはずですが、問題はあると言っています。
そしてシナリオだけにある一文。「Everything comes so easy for him. 彼にとっては全てが簡単だ」つまり、自分を捨てることも簡単だったということです。
これが映画でカットされたのは、謎を残すためですね、きっと。
アーサーは世間の人たちがいかに冷たいかを饒舌に語りますが、マレーはうんざりした顔です。
「自分を憐れむのなんかもう聞きたくないね。君は3人の若者を殺した言い訳をしたいんだろう。誰もがひどい人なわけではない」
よくいます、こういう言い方をする人。こういう人は、自分が正義と信じて疑いませんから、相手の意見は聞きません。冷酷代表になっているのにも気がつきませんが、世間の人の意見も大半はマレー側ですよね。
もしかしたら、これを読んでくださっている方も、マレーの言い分のほうが好きかもしれませんね。だとしたら、アーサーはただの堕落していく馬鹿だと思われていますね。ネットにはそういう書き込みが多いようです。
もちろん、殺人はダメだし、わたしは殺人を支持しているわけではありませんが、アーサーの気持ちをせっかくですから、ちょっとだけ考えてみてほしいです。
苦しい人に、苦しいと言うことを許さない世界は、好きですか？
アーサーがマレーに「あんたは最低だYou're awful, Murray.」と言いますが、どれだけの悲しみをもってそう言っていることか。
この会話の間に、アーサーは決心します。
自殺はやめて、マレーを殺す。
自分を馬鹿にする世界に逆襲する。そう決めたのではないかと感じます。
この会話をするまでは、少しは理解しあえるのではないかと期待していました。だから話をしたんです。何も言わずにいきなり撃ったわけではありません。
自分の気持ちを訴えても、馬鹿にされるばかりだったから、反撃するしかなかったのです。
マレーが「わたしのどこが最低だって？」と聞くと、アーサーは応えます。
「ぼくのビデオを流し、ショーに招待した。ぼくを馬鹿にするためだけに。あんたは他のやつらと同じだ、マレー」
なんと的確な答えでしょうか！
これ以上、セリフを紹介しても不毛なのでやめますが、アーサーの受け答えは少なくとも知能に障害がないことを示しています。
とうとう怒り出したアーサーがマレーを撃ちます。
左目からは涙が流れています。
お父さんだったらどんなにいいだろうと思ったこともあるマレーが、まったく理解してくれなかった、それが悔しくて涙が出てきました。
（こう書くと、確かに自分勝手な言い草ではありますね・汗）
撃ったあとは、さすがにナーバスになって貧乏ゆすりを始め、死んだマレーをもう一回撃ちます。挙動不審です。悪のカリスマにはとても見えません。
そしてテレビカメラを奪って「GOOD NIGHT AND ALWAYS REMEMBER,--THAT'S LIFE!」と言うとシナリオには書いてありますが、映画ではTHAT'Sと言ったところで切られてしまいました。
“しばらくお待ちください”みたいな画面が出て、軽快な音楽が流れます。

映画「ジョーカー」15秒CM（絶賛レビュー編）大ヒット上映中！
シナリオでは通路を、プロデューサーとマレーが歩いてきます。プロデューサーは、ショーにアーサーを出すのをやめるようにマレーに言っています。アーサーを馬鹿だと言っています。マレーは、アーサーが間抜けだからこそ出すんだと譲りません。
マレーが残酷な気持ちからアーサーを呼んだことはもうみなさんご存知なのですが、もう一回、アーサーは歓迎されて呼ばれたわけではないことを確認しているシーンですが、カットされています。
楽屋にいるアーサーのところに二人が入ってきます。
アーサーは感激をあらわにした表情でマレーを迎えますが、これは嘘をついています。地下鉄で人が殺されたことを知っているか聞かれて、たった今テレビで聞いたのに「知らない」と嘘をついていますから、これは映画的に言って、『アーサーがマレーに見せた態度そのものが嘘』という意味です。
マレーが「下品なジョークと下ネタは禁止」と言っていますが、これは伏線ですね。「自殺禁止」とも「オレを殺すのは禁止」とも言っていないので、どちらもOKです。
アーサーがマレーに「ジョーカーと紹介してほしい」と頼んだとき、マレーは自分がジョーカーと言ったことは忘れていました。アーサーを出演させることをいかに軽く考えていたかがわかるようになっています。
楽屋でアーサーはもう一回、銃口を自分の顎に当てます。まだ、ステージ上で自殺をするつもりであることがわかります。
アーサーはステージ袖に移動し、ショーは進行していきます。
出番が刻々と近づいてきます。
